Mike Geppi is an experienced and accomplished leader in the private and public sectors. As a serial entrepreneur, former commercial banker, and former elected and appointed official, Mike has the ability to look at problems and issues through a unique lens. He focuses on technology and unleashing the full potential of people and processes as a means of achieving superior scalability and profits. 

 

Throughout his career, Mike has served in the public and private sectors.  He served on the transition team for Maryland Governor Larry Hogan as Chair of the Subcommittee on Health and Human Services Information Technology and also as Maryland’s Deputy Secretary of Health.  As Deputy Secretary, Mike was the Chief Operating Officer for the Maryland Department of Health with its 8,500 employees and nearly $14 billion budget.

 

Mike has also served as CEO of a number of technology-based companies.  He leads phenomenal teams for customized management consulting across industries, with focus on healthcare, wellness, cybersecurity, and IT architecture.  

 

Mike serves on the faculty at the top-ranked Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.  He teaches negotiations, business strategy, economics, industry analysis, ethics, managing people and organizations, and business communications to MBA, Masters, and undergraduate students.

 

His undergraduate degree was earned at Towson University in Political Science and Communication Studies.  He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

Tunde Ogungbade, MBA, MS

Tunde is a master at getting to the root of problems and finding simple, yet elegant paths forward.

 

He is the former Enterprise Architect and IT Division Manager at Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) where he was responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture initiatives and its evolution for the CIO.

 

In addition to over 5 years at WSSC Tunde has 10 years of consulting experience at various Big 5 consulting companies. His technology experience and expertise covers strategic planning and investment, enterprise system implementation, custom solution development, operations and infrastructure management, innovation (R&D) and project management.

 

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from OAU University, MS in Real Time Systems from London South Bank University and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

Jack Schammel

Jack brings more than 20 years of management, entrepreneurial, and consulting experience to bear on behalf of his clients both locally and internationally.  He is an expert at delivering process improvements for operational excellence, organizational development, and employee engagement on strategic and operational initiatives.  Jack has a diverse background in electric generation, supply chain, finance, leadership development and health care.  He has several successful start-ups to his credit; has had P&L responsibility for multi-million dollar budgets spanning multiple functional areas; led organizations ranging from 5 to 500 employees; and delivered cost savings reaching seven figures on a wide range of improvement projects.

 

He has crafted two groundbreaking approaches which add immense value for his clients.  The first is the Business Operating System Handbook, a proprietary guide for systemizing one’s business.  The second is his streamlined, cyclical approach to strategic planning that yields enormous results and yields a continuous process rather than an annual event.

Throughout his management career, Jack has also excelled at coaching and mentoring individuals to grow, develop, and achieve their personal and professional goals.  He is a passionate speaker and has spoken before audiences ranging from the Cairo Conference on GATT to corporate gatherings and small business seminars.  Jack has facilitated a wide range of executive and governance meetings and is sought out for his board development expertise.

 

Jack is the board chair for the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce, a director for the Harford County Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Executive Committee.
